Access Read&Write on an STC Desktop in IUanyWare

Before you begin

You will need to have the latest version of the Citrix Workspace app installed on your computer before using IUanyWare (see Install the Citrix Workspace app).

Access Read&Write

  • Log into IUanyWare.

  • At any time, including when launching applications, you may be prompted to select Open Citrix Workspace/Receiver Launcher. To avoid being prompted each time, select remember my choice for Citrix Workspace/Receiver Launcher.
  • On the “Welcome screen:
    • If you have Citrix Workspace app installed, select Detect Receiver. i. In some cases, after you select Detect Receiver, you may need to select Already installed.
    • If you don't have the app and don't want to install it, select Use light version.
  • Once logged in, you'll land on your Home tab.
  • Select the DESKTOPS tab, and then select the icon of the STC desktop you wish to launch.
  • The following message will appear: "This site is trying to open Citrix Launcher." Click Open.
  • The STC Lab Desktop window will appear.
  • Select the Start Menu or press the Windows key
  • Select the Adaptive Software folder
  • Select Read&Write
  • After the Read&Write splash screen disappears, select the show/hide icon ( Show/hide ) to expand the menu:
    1. You will be prompted to sign in. Select Sign in with Google.
    2. Enter your IU email address (ending in @iu.edu). Select Next.
    3. Log in with your IU username and passphrase.
    4. A new browser window will launch with the following message: "Thanks for signing in, you're all set to start using Read&Write!"
    5. Select the X in the upper right corner of the browser window to close it.
  • You can now begin using Read&Write.
  • If you experience issues using Read&Write, contact your campus Support Center.
