IU allows Exchange partnerships with up to 10 mobile devices. If you experience issues setting up an Exchange account on your mobile device, you may want to verify how many devices you have partnered with Exchange; see Manage your Exchange ActiveSync device in Outlook on the web.

Windows 10 Mobile
To set up Exchange ActiveSync on your device running Windows 10 Mobile, from the home screen:
- Open .
- Scroll down and tap , and then .
- Tap . Tap .
- Type your IU email address, and then tap .
- In the password box that appears, enter your IU passphrase.
- The device will attempt to retrieve the account settings automatically. If this is successful, skip to the last step.
- If the settings are not detected automatically, tap
- Email address: Your IU email address
- Password: Your IU passphrase
- Username: Your IU username
- Domain: ADS
. Ensure that the following settings are correct, and then tap .
- On the next screen, check these additional settings, choose and create an account name, and then tap
- Exchange server address: eas.exchange.iu.edu
- Server requires encrypted connection (SSL): This box should be checked.

- If successful, you should see a screen that says "All done!" On this screen, tap .
Windows Phone 8 or 7
To set up Exchange ActiveSync on your device running Windows Phone 8 or 7, from the home screen:
- Swipe to the left (or tap the arrow on the right).
- Scroll down and tap .
- Scroll down and tap .
- Tap and choose .
- Tap the box, and then type your IU email address.
- Tap the IU passphrase. box, and then type your
- Tap .
- If the account settings are found, wait for your Exchange email, calendar, and contacts to be synced to your phone. You're all done setting up your account.
If the account settings are not found, review the settings for your email address and password, type
ADS
in the "Domain" field, and try to sign in again.If you still have problems, tap
and make sure the following information is correct:- Email address: Your IU email address
- Password: Your IU passphrase
- Username: Your IU username
- Exchange server address:
eas.exchange.iu.edu
- Server requires encrypted connection (SSL): This box should be checked.
